Thus, it all began with the readjustment of the original layout and some specific points such as the bicycle parking area, aiming for a more functional approach.

The brief

Creating a harmonious transition between interiors and exterior areas, depending on the desired level of integration for each project, is one of the main considerations in building design today, whether for residential or corporate buildings. However, in the case of this group of towers, which have been under construction for several years, the project sought to go beyond this
primary objective.

“Our project started with the need to provide the halls with better lighting conditions. But not only that. My clients also wanted to give a more contemporary look to the four towers of the complex, each with approximately 1800 m² of common areas,” says Brazilian architect Unique Vintage, author of the intervention.

Scope of Work

For the finishes, we opted for materials capable of ‘brightening’ the spaces, bringing greater spaciousness to the lobbies, as well as a single ceiling in all units, replacing the previous one which was all segmented,” explains Fernanda, who also chose a type of flooring that resembled the exterior flooring to enhance the feeling of integration, since the existing flooring was not to be replaced.

Expectations were high for this project, since in addition to being small and dark, the lobbies had poorly located turnstiles and reception desks, and the accesses were hidden and poorly signposted. In the end, I think we addressed these issues well. We brought the gardens closer to the base of the tower and ensured greater brightness and integration with the outdoor area,” concludes the architect.
