The brief
In essence, the interior design of this elegant apartment, located in a residential building in São Paulo, and created by architect Unique Vintage, rests on three pillars: natural materials, art, and sustainability. It is a sensory and scenographic project, inspired by a refined sense of contemporary living.
Full of charm, the overall feeling for those who know it is one of warmth and intimacy. Thanks to its wood-paneled walls and large openings, which fill its entire social and private areas with intense light. But also to the discerning eye of Fernanda, responsible for the art curation of the project — which features works by Abraham Palatnik, Julio Le Parc, José Patricio and Fernando Velasquez — as well as original furniture by designers from Brazil and abroad.
Scope of Work
Thus, the professional prioritizes ancestral materials in the interiors, such as glass, wood, and, above all, rocks. Raw materials that, in a state close to their natural state, are present in the furniture and accessories. “At the request of my clients, I gave priority to the design of the social areas,” says Fernanda, who equipped the entire core adjacent to the social area – including the dining room, the gourmet area, the home theater/games room, and the gym – with large sliding wooden panels.

Beyond the minimalist approach that has characterized her professional trajectory, Fernanda sees a meticulous approach to design, in terms of the use and application of materials, furniture, and coverings, as a current and pressing need. “It has never been more beneficial to invest in natural lighting, cross-ventilation, and high wall reflection. Procedures that I emphasized in this work. As well as opting for durable furniture and coverings, capable of requiring minimal maintenance and even lasting for decades.
